Evans Equipment & Environmental was founded in 1987 by Taylor Evans in Lafayette, Louisiana. For 20 years, Evans Equipment & Environmental has been serving the oilfield and industrial markets of Louisiana and Texas. The company’s growth has been measured by the diversification of its customer base as well as its diversification into other markets.
 Company highlights include:
- 1987 - Opened first branch in Broussard, Louisiana
- 1994 - Opened second branch in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- 1995 - Began sales and service of water treatment systems
- 2002 - Opened third branch in Houston, Texas
- 2004 - Opened fourth branch in Shreveport, Louisiana
- 2005 - Opened fifth branch in Lake Charles, Louisiana
- 2006 - Successful Cleanup and Participation in the Murphy Oil Spill in Meraux, Louisiana
- 2006 - Successful Cleanup and Participation in the Citgo Oil Spill in Lake Charles, Louisiana
